As the Lead UX Designer on Mural Health’s iOS and Android mobile app, I owned the end-to-end user experience for core patient and caregiver workflows across payments, travel, and transportation. I partnered closely with product, engineering, and operations to translate complex, regulated, and global requirements into intuitive, scalable mobile experiences that reduced friction, improved access, and supported real-world clinical trial participation.

Global Payments

Led the UX design for a global clinical trial payments experience that enables patients to receive expense reimbursements instantly and fee-free. Designed secure, intuitive workflows supporting international payments, reducing friction and financial burden for trial participants.
 

Travel Logistics (Patients & Caregivers)

Designed end-to-end travel logistics workflows for both patients and caregivers, including scheduling, coordination, and communication with clinical sites. Focused on simplifying complex, multi-party journeys while accommodating accessibility needs and real-world constraints.
 

Rideshare Integrations (Uber & Lyft)

Contributed to the UX design of integrated Uber and Lyft transportation workflows, enabling seamless ride booking, tracking, and reimbursement within the app. Helped reduce missed appointments and improve trial adherence by removing transportation barriers.
 

Platform Impact

The mobile app serves as a core component of Mural Link’s participant management platform, bringing payments, travel, transportation, and site communication into a single, patient-first experience—improving accessibility, engagement, and retention across global clinical trials.
